Hello, I 'm back! I mentioned in the last post that I was on vacation and also went for a training in Orlando. I've actually been back for a while but outfit posts just not working out lately. 

Here are a few pictures form the trip. We operated on a very busy schedule as we had to hit Universal Studios, Sea World, Aquatica and Downtown Disney. We even rushed to the airport from one of the parks.

Summer Vacation: What to Pack, What to Wear

Geometric Print and Ankle Straps

I wore this dress to the welcome dinner during our Avon trip to Hawaii (Don't worry, I will stop talking about Hawaii soon ;)). I found the dress at TJ Maxx and fell in love with it. I usually shy away from sheath dresses because of my body shape (small hip to bust ratio) but this dress blousons out a little at the waist and has a slight A line shape, so it works. This is the second Nine West dress I own and love. See the other one here.

I'm loving Ankle Strap Sandals. They are all over the place now and hot for this season. I just try to keep myself from buying more. They go with everything.

A Taste of Hawaii

Here is another installment of pictures from my Hawaii trip. As some of you know, I earned the trip along with 600 other Avon representatives (some earned free guests) for recognition of my sales. The destination was San Diego two years ago and last year was an Alaskan cruise (didn't make Alaska). Next year is Puerto Rico which I'm working towards.

Day at the Beach.

Outfit: Tee - Gap, Shorts - Old Navy (similar)

Downtown Honolulu. It's easy to get around I took the trolley from the hotel to downtown and shopping area. 

At the farewell dinner. By this time, I was missing home and tired of wearing two outfits everyday. The hair flower has a story to it. Wear it on the right side of your head and it means you are single, on the left side means you are taken. Wear it on the back of your head and it means anything goes.

With my room mate at the Luau. Those Leis are made with real flowers. They died a day after. Imagine how many of these flowers have to die. So many leis in Hawaii.

Day at the beach. I'm in the water somewhere. I actually swam in a beach the first time. The water is so clean and tempting.

Outfit: Dress - Old Navy, Sunnies - Avon

Visit to the Pearl Harbor Memorial and USS Arizona Memorial. Parts of the sunken Arizona Ship during the Pearl Harbor attack. That white building is over the sunken ship. It's also a grave site because the bodies of many were not recovered.

More pictures from the beach and lagoon at the hotel. Also found and attended a church service on the beach. Several weddings were taking place at the beach also.

Day of shopping. That lady took all my money. ;). I only shopped for souvenirs. Didn't go to any of the designer stores or the mall. There's fish and water everywhere.

White Pants and more Scenes from Hawaii

This is what I wore on the first day of touring the Hawaiian Island. I finally wore my white pants because I was away from the kids and not going to work. I wore the same pants two years ago and realized I had to tailor them to fit my hips. I didn't wear them again till I did that.  I've tailored 90% of my pants to fit better in the hips. A better fit means more comfort and more wearability.
This was the view from my balcony. The balcony was my sanctuary during my stay. I was chased inside by a bird once though. Seems the birds here are not afraid of humans. More photos below.

Purple Maxi

Hello and I'm back. Thankful for a safe trip back from Hawaii. We had a ton of activities to go to and time on the beach. I will post more pictures in the next few days. This is what I wore to our private Luau. I love the A line shape of the maxi which helps balance out my shape.
