This is one of the dresses I snagged from Old Navy for $17 when they had their sale a few weeks ago. I'm styling this similar to the way
Hems for Her did. I like this dress because it's flattering and roomy enough in the right places. A dress with a V-neck, elastic waist and A line skirt shape is always a winner for me. I like it when a dress conceals how busty I am and disguises my big mid section. The cardi helps too.
As you can tell, the cardi is a little too big. I bought this before I figured out that Old Navy sizes run big and before realizing that I didn't always have to buy large because of my heavy top. Too late to return it so I'll live with it.

You look AWESOME! Those are all the reasons I bought it too. Such a flattering dress. I wish Old Navy would make more colors and patterns in this exact style!
ReplyDeleteThe floral print dress is so pretty on you! And you got it for such a steal. I love Old Navy's sales. I'm a new follower :)

I am a new follower, too. I found out the hard way about the ON sizes, too - but I had bought 3 t-shirts and a cardi! I, too, assumed I would need a large. Oh well, live and learn. Love the dress and the shoes show off your great legs!
ReplyDeleteNot sure how to find a name, so I guess I'll be anonymous for a while. Lynne

The good news is that the cardigan doesn't look bad even though it's too big. (: I like that you pulled a color from the print and played it up, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty dress and it looks prettier with the coral ropped cardi! Big?? well, I can't tell that from the pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for stopping by and commenting!
