The last two times I wore this dress before Burgundy/oxblood/Wine/Maroon became the "It" colors for fall, I called it a red dress. Today? Behold my burgundy dress. I didn't know I had the "It" color in my closet. Next year, maybe when red becomes the color of the season, I might go back to calling it my red dress. I love the pleats because of the fullness they add to my hips.

Gorgeous dress, and I'm totally with you on the "it" color - we all have all of these colors already, calling it by a different name doesn't make it new! Love that you're working this trend with something you already had :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great outfit, and I think using the word burgundy is so much nicer than oxblood. I love the little cardi and especially the shoes!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to find you put yourself in trend-timeliness just by digging in the closet? Such a great way to put this together. I leaning from you all!
