Pure Black and White

This is what I wore to church on Sunday. Black and white was the choir uniform. Am I still breaking the rule of no white after labor day? When does it become before labor day so it can be okay?

A basic black sweater is a necessity for any wardrobe. It goes with anything and can be dressed up or down. I usually can't get away with wearing crew necks because of my heavy top but the thin fabric of this sweater makes it forgiving. I do have to put a lot of thought into things I buy for myself these days just to make sure they flatter my non perfect shape. Any one with me on this one?
