Polka Dot Sweater

I love Polka Dots, the color green and navy blue. Plus I love these boots and skinny jeans that fit. This is the perfect Friday outfit for me. I really love the texture of this sweater because it doesn't show any bumps and the rise of jeans helps too. I'm beginning to figure which fabrics work for my body type.

Striped Sweater Dress and Hue Tights

Sweater dresses and tunics that I've gotten in the past have not been forgiving to my figure. I like it when a sweater dress doesn't show all my imperfections. The A-line shape of this one helps balance my shape. I got it from Old Navy during their $19 dress sale.

Now on to the tights..I mentioned in a previous post how I cannot survive all day in tights or panty hose. The only one that works for me is a pair from Nine West (not sold any longer). I decided to try HUE since everyone seems to wear them and I thought they might be fine but the tights came off right after taking these pictures. They lasted till 4pm - which is not too bad. Does anyone else have problems with tights itching or it's just me?

This is what I wore on thanksgiving day. The weather was really nice, at least for November. I wore skinny jeans so I wouldn't eat too much.

Simple Work Wear with an Old Navy Sweater

During the cold months for work, my uniform is a sweater with pants. I add a scarf for added interest and for warmth and I'm all set. This is the real dress code at my job. All the skirts and heels I wear are usually distracting so I'm keeping it low key this week.

Peach and Black Lace

Peach and Black was our choir uniform for Sunday. I decided to take a break from my regular black pencil skirts and wear this lace skirt. I purchased it a while ago on sale for about $10. I got it because of the price and it stayed in my closet for almost two years. It's now one of the big items of the season. As mentioned in a previous post, nothing is new. All these trends are hiding in our closets somewhere.
